“Wonderful friendly staff. Clean and cosy place with ample seating inside and out. Perfect for a pint and chips after a long walk up beyond the coppermines. Choice of pubs but this had the inviting look about it. Loved the fact we could just order a portion of chips instead of a whole main meal.”

We had the family room which was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, very large and has a brilliant view of the Coniston mountains and the river. It is a great base for all the local amenities and surrounding fells.”
